STEDI™ Lower Sliding Bottom Bracket for ST3303 Pro & ST2K LED Light Bars
Assembly
The bracket is easiest assembled prior to installation. Using the wider opening in the channel of the light bar, insert the bracket and slide to the desired position for mounting. Once the bracket is in position, tighten down the 2 cap screws to the locking plate firmly to secure the position in the channel.
Sliding Bracket Installation:
Please Note: When installing the sliding bracket into the light, the foot may need to be rotated so the lobe clears the opening. Alternatively, the bracket can be assembled once the track insert is on the bar. Once the bracket is fitted and the light is angled to the desired position, tighten the 2 locking grub screws on each side of the brackets to secure the light firmly.
The ST2K Touch has a daytime running light feature that is switchable between white and amber DRL using the touch function. The plug on this light bar has three wires coming from the plug junction.
Wiring:
To wire up the DRL function of the ST2K Touch, connect the WHITE to a +12V signal this can be a PARKER or DRL signal from the vehicle. This will allow control of the DRL colour to be switched via the touch pad on the side of the light.
To control the DRL via an in-cabin switch, connect the YELLOW wire to an applicable switch (switch not included)
WHITE: White/Amber DRL via the Touch pad on the side of the ST2K Touch
YELLOW: Signal wire for DRL control via In cabin switch
BLUE: Connect this wire to a Positive 12V source to activate E-Mark Compliance mode.
- This will reduce the light intensity required in certain European countries.
- Please Note: For maximum performance, do not connect this wire
Common places to pick up the 12v signal are
- Parkers
- Ignition (try picking it up at the windscreen wiper motor)
