Fitment - Overview
The Evo Light Bar by itself has two fitment options: Side Mounting & Rear Mounting.
For Side mounting, there are two Black Caps covering the bolt holes on either side of the Evo Light Bar. See image below for mounting locations
Please Note: Tube mounting brackets are not included and will need to be purchased seperately.
Side Brackets (Included):
Please Note: For mounting methods using included side brackets, please proceed with traditional light bar installation.
1. For side mounting, identify the two rubber black caps covering the bolt holes on both sides of the Evo light bar, remove these.
2. Once the rubber black caps are removed, the side brackets should be assembled in order of components:
EVO Light Bar > Bracket Arm > Washer > Spring Washer > Bolt.
3. Once the side brackets are secured to the EVO light bar, level the brackets and rest them on desired surface for fitment.
Note: Stand back and make sure your EVO light bar is centered in relation to the vehicle it is being fit onto, before the next step.
4. Once satisfied with the positioning of the EVO light bar, we suggest drawing or marking the bolt holes of the side brackets.
5. Pre-drill the holes, then fully drill them out to match the diameter of the included bolts.
6. Secure the Evo light bar to the surface, by tightening the bolts with the provided. nuts and washers.
Clam Brackets (Not Included):
Please Note: Additional EVO Clam Brackets are available in multiple sizes. Please ensure you check your bull bars tube size as a reference before purchase.
On the rear and bottom of the EVO Light Bar there are multiple bolt holes (covered with a small plastic cap) that our clam brackets will thread into. The shape of the EVO light bar is designed to rest on the top and front of a bull bar; our EVO Clam Brackets complete the rest of the diameter from the back of the tube via two main components.
Bolts:
1. 2 x M8 x 20mm Bolt for joining Top and Bottom bracket components.
2. 2 x M6 x 14mm Bolt for Top bracket component
3. 2 x M6 x 10mm Bolt for Bottom bracket component
EVO Light Bar & Clam Bracket Installation & Assembly:
1. Identify the Top and Bottom Clam Bracket components, and attach the provided rubber inserts onto the interior of the brackets. The rubber inserts will provide cushioning between the Brackets and the tube (intended for fitment).
Note: The minimum total for fitment of the EVO light bar should be: 4 x rubber inserts accounting for the 2 x top and 2 x bottom Clam Bracket components.
2. Identify the bolt holes on the rear & bottom of the EVO light bar and remove the plastic caps for bracket assembly reference.
3. Rest the EVO light bar facing down for this next step, as you will want access to the rear of the bar.
4. Use both M6 x 14mm Bolts included, to attach the two Top Clam Brackets to the rear of the EVO light bar.
Note: Do not over-tighten these bolts as you will want a bit of play to be able to assemble the remaining Clam Bracket components in the next steps.
6. With both Top Brackets attached to the EVO light bar, orient the lens facing upwards, and gently place the light bar on the tube (intended for fitment).
7. Grab both your Bottom Clam Bracket components (that have rubber inserts attached) along with your two M6 x 10mm Bolts, and thread the bolts through the bottom bracket components into the bottom of the Evo light bar.
8. Now that the Top and Bottom Bracket components are attached to the EVO light bar, orient the Lens facing forward.
9. Identify and grab the two remaining M8 x 10mm Bolts; use these to secure the Top and Bottom Clam Bracket components together.
Note: Again do not fully tighten these as you want a bit of play for the next step.
10. Now that the brackets are loosely secured and fully assembled, we recommend you center and vertically orient the final position of the EVO light bar for safe driving.
11. Once the EVO light bar is in the intended orientation, tighten all six of the bolts to secure the light bar to the tube.
12. Stand back and double-check the orientation centering of the EVO light bar, if out of place loosen the bolts to orient the light bar as required for desired fitment.
Wiring:
Wiring Guide
1. To integrate the additional DRL features onto your vehicle you will need to identify the Parker Light circuit on your vehicle intended for fitment.
2. On the Parker Light Circuit, identify the blue and white wires.
Note: The vehicle white wire is the actual Parker Light Wire, and the Blue wire is the Parker Ignition Wire.
3. Match and connect the Blue wire (from the EVO harness) to the Vehicle’s Blue wire.
4. Match and connect the White wire (from the EVO harness) to the Vehicle’s White wire.
5. Clean up your wiring and make sure there are no exposed electrical wires and that’s it!
Note: Both the DRL High and Low will need to be plugged into the vehicle’s Parker Light Circuit for these features to work. You cannot run the DRL features standalone i.e. you cannot just connect the DRL high line, and expect it to work (the circuit will not complete).
